Bicycle & Pedestrian Counting

Civic Group have recognised the need of many local authorities to be able to count and record how many bicycles are using their cycle lanes. This information is collected via Bicycle Counting systems and is extremely valuable to local government when planning the installation of new cycle lanes within their area.

Our Pedestrian Counting systems are designed to be installed in remote areas of national parks or forestry, where standard people counters are not able to operate in extreme temperatures. Our Pedestrian Counting system is battery powered and can hold 12 months plus of data. Our units are currently installed throughout the UK and NI.
