Green Energy Ireland - e-Box

This system is designed to enable you to cut electricity consumption levels drastically and optimise maintenance costs.

It can be applied to light sources such as: fluorescent, sodium vapour lamps, mercury vapour lamps, metal halide and halogen lamps, with indoor and outdoor system control, with power ratings from 0.69 kVA to 138 kVA.

The system enables a reduction in electromagnetic interference .
It reduces wear and tear in the power supply lines, in the electrical components in control panels and in the luminaires themselves. Thanks to its compact dimensions and electrical characteristics, the system can be installed anywhere without modifying existing installations, be they single-phase or three-phase.

It operates by regulating the electrical operating magnitudes.
The system consists of an electronically controlled static autotransformer that applies the principle of electromagnetic transformation (the no-harmonics transformer principle). After it has been installed, set up for operation and tested, it does not require any further maintenance or control work .

Ranges:

Green Energy Ireland offers a comprehensive range of energy-saving systems designed to accommodate
small, medium and large applications, with particular emphasis on compact dimensions, design and flexible control.

Certificates:

One main feature of Green Energy Ireland is a total guarantee on pay-back, with actual savings being
verified by the customer's trained staff. A certificate of correct installation and energy saving verification is issued.
The details are verified and checked by Green Energy Ireland 's technical staff and by the customer's own
staff or by professionals appointed by the latter. Our complete guarantee on savings is a unique characteristic.
Green Energy Ireland performs installations on a national and international scale, with significant results
in the following areas:

  • Food and agriculture
  • Textiles
  • Metallurgical and mechanical industries
  • Street lighting
  • Public lighting
  • Tunnels
  • Credit institutions
  • Airports
  • Public bodies
  • Schools and laboratories

Details of installations are documented through direct contact with our sales office in Dublin.

Green Energy Ireland offers integrated services for the
supply of energy-saving systems:

E-box systems reduce light emission peaks, which makes for significant savings in terms of light pollution.
The lower energy demand helps reduce the level of CO 2 in the atmosphere. In accordance with the WEEE legislation,
lamps must be disposed of in purpose-provided collection centres and this adds to maintenance costs; the e-box
system reduces these costs. Fewer lamps to dispose of means fewer noxious gases to be processed. Another
significant direct advantage of power regulation is an improvement in the system's electrical operating parameters .

The regulation of power allows the system, in technical terms, to respect the limits prescribed in UNI 10380
and UNI 10439 standards for light output ratio, UNI 10819 for lighting pollution and Italian Law 626 on safety.

It offers different levels of savings so it can adapt to any type of setting requirements in terms of
savings/performance ratio, irrespective of the type of light source used. All its functional parameters can be
controlled using technologies designed in-house, including wired or wireless remote control. In laboratory tests,
the system demonstrated considerable resistance to indirect lightning. It comes with a 25-year guarantee
which can be extended, further to technical testing. It is certified by SINAL accredited bodies in accordance
with UNI CEI EN 45001 certification. The systems are CE marked and built in compliance with ISO 9002
standards and with EN 61010-1 standard of 11/2001.

e–box has already been implemented all over Europe in:

  • Municipalities (urban and interurban street lighting)
  • Airports
  • Hospitals, Nursing Homes
  • Shopping Centres, Offices, Shops
  • Schools, Industrial Complexes and Exhibition Centres
  • Car parks, Underground Railways and Motorways
  • School Premises, Sports Centres, Hotels and Banks
  • And generally anywhere that lighting consumption levels are high.
